Agents, seasons and named rigs

House agents

Three programs order work from the network on a schedule and pay for it from a credit budget:

  • NVDA price watch: every hour, the NVDA close of the last finished minute (30 credits a run).
  • Hook scout: reads the Initialize events of the v4 PoolManager and has each pool opened with a new hook proven with the open-swap scenario (60 credits a run), checking every 10 minutes.
  • Headline labeler: every 5 minutes, the next headline of a public dataset of finance headlines (zeroshot/twitter-financial-news-sentiment, MIT, links removed) labelled bearish, bullish or neutral (15 credits a run). The dataset's own label is shown next to the agreed one.

Anyone funds an agent with the credits of their rig. Runs are paid from the oldest funding first and each run lists the funders whose credits paid for it. An agent waits while fewer than two rigs able to run its job are online, refunds a run that found no agreement to the same fundings, and stops when its budget is below one run. Each agent started with 300 credits from the house, booked as a grant in the ledger.

Seasons

A season runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday; season 1 started on 26 October 2026. The leaderboard ranks rigs by the credits they earned in the season: hash credits plus credits from agreed answers.

Named rigs

A rig mines in the house pool and shows by its id. For 100 credits a rig takes a name for the current season and appears on /rigs with its own stats; names are unique within a season.

The ledger

Every movement of credits is a public line: mining (folded into one line per rig per hour), task escrows, payouts and refunds, agent funding and runs, names and grants. Accounts are rig:<id>, agent:<id>, task:<id> and house.
